Bam Bam!!!!!!
So, here's a question for ya.....ever been hit twice in the car by the same person??? Well.. I have!
I had JUST left my house today and was on my way to a shoot. I was at a STOP sign waiting for traffic to get clear so I could turn left when BAM!!! " HOLY CRAP" I said. I grabbed my head because it freakin HURT and before I knew it.... BAM ..... AGAIN!!! Like once wasn't enough!( Can I say HE NEVER HIT THE BRAKES). Now he had pushed me into the intersection and now a car was coming straight for me!!! All I can can tell you is I was so numb and couldn't even react I just braced myself! The car swerved and MISSED me by like an inch!!! Then MORE cars swerved and then things started to calm down. I sat there wondering what the HELL just happened! Sorry for the language but I am shaking as I am writing this! The hit was so bad that my change drawer opened so change was every where even down my shirt and the hit opened my sunroof! So, I pulled the car over to the side and cried my eyes out grabbed the phone and called Terry, then called for the cops. As I was sitting in the car this sweet little old lady comes to my window and holds my hand has I am just bawling. She preceded to tell me," O' honey it just looked like your neck snapped. That's how hard he hit you". She was so sweet she just stayed right by me. Then, a lady in my ward comes out because she lives RIGHT there and said the crash was so loud it sounded like semi truck was hit. Nope just lil' ole me! The cops took a while to get there and my dear sweet husband ran on foot to the scene (that's how close to home I was). The truck that hit me was an 1984 Ford F100. The sucker is a beast! Not to mention my rear is messed UP people! The HOnda is going to need some work. All an all I am okay and thank goodness the kids we NOT with me! I am sore and freaked out to drive. I just clench as I am stopped because all I can hear is CRASH in my head!
Life throws us for a loop. I mean what the heck was I doing wrong today??? I mean really? I was just minding my own business. I hope I can sleep tonight because I am still freaked out. I mean what happened to the good ole' fender benders??? A little tappy tappy? Not BANG!!!

How scary! My mom hit a truck head on while taking a turn and my torso hurt so bad from the seat belt for a week or so. That's the worse I have been in.
So you didn't say what the guy said to you! Did he feel bad or just make excuses?

Holy crap! I can't believe he hit you twice! Did his brakes go out? I am happy that you are OK. Billy and I were in a minor accident in college, but I still get so freaked out when he is driving and we are in traffic. Good luck!

Oh my gosh Tiffany that is so scary! I am so sorry that happened to you. I would be totally shaken up too! I am so glad that your kids were'nt with you!

This has happened to me more times than I would like. I hate car accidents! I think I was hit once by the same kind of truck. Chiropractors are my best friend now. You might want to consider going to one if you are in a lot of pain. Let me know if there is anything I can do. I'm glad you are okay.
Oh, that is terible!! But what a blessing the red car didn't hit you! Was it a drunk driver who hit you? You would never think that at a stop sign near homes that you could be hit that hard!! Lucky you are alive and that Terry could be there so quickly for you! I am so glad it wasn't worse!
oh my goodness I am so glad that you are okay! I got into a bad accident like that before Brian and I were engaged, and I never went to the doctors, and I wish I did because now 5 years later I have permanant neck pain, because I didn't get it fixed. So if you haven't already take your self to the doctors right now, don't wait please.
I am laughing reading your post,,,not because you were hurt, but because before I drove a sequoia, I drove a.....yep you guessed it...a Ford f150. And, about 3 years ago this same thing happened to me. But, I was the one who hit the person in front of me. No one was hurt seriously. The people that I hit had to miss work for a few days because they had sore necks. And my insurance was raised. And, I felt incrediably STUPID!! My kids were fighting that day and I was frazzled. Not an excuse, but I felt horrible!! When they say "accidents happen, It is true!!" I am glad you are ok.
