Happy Halloween 2008

Well, the candles are out, candy is everywhere, kids asleep, moms feet ache and pumpkins are ready to get bashed! Halloween was here and now gone!
We had fun this year with the whole Halloween tradition too. We watched Halloween movies, ate treats and try to do fun stuff! The kids were dressed in their Halloween clothes! So cute! Thanks Nana! It started off being overcast and rainy but the sun came out and turned out to be an awesome night! For those who don't know me...... I LOVE HALLOWEEN! Well... any holiday really! I am a crazy lady who just dances around in pure excitement! Paige has been so excited about this and it was fun to watch her.
Last night we had Trunk-or-Treat at the church and it was fun. The kids liked it. The youth did such a great job at planning and making it fun for the kids.
Tonight we started off by eating my Taco Soup for dinner. It's tradition. Every year I make it and it's OOOO so good! Then it was off to TRICK- OR - TREAT!! It was so much fun! I love that the kids will always remember times like these. It's fun to be apart of something that has been done FOREVER! It's so fun to do something with the kids that I did as a kid also! Good times! Paige INSISTED on wearing her WAY to big dress up Cinderella slippers out and did really well. You could hear that girl clippty cloppin a mile away! Ty had fun but I brought him home early because he was getting crazy and tired! He made me laugh my guts out.. Just watching him in his costume was a hoot!
It was a great night and it went by so fast. My favorite part was going to this house right down the street from us. This guys house is hummmmmm.... crazy is an understatement ..... it is awesome! He decorates, has a haunted tunnel, has a coffee and cookie bar for adults and listen to this..... he gives out pop! Now my kids don't drink the stuff but it freakin rocks! He is so nice! He said he spends about $800-900 in pop!! WHAT THE!!! I know CRAZY!
Anywho all an all it was an awesome day and night and I can't wait until next year! But now my taste buds are ready for some stuffing and turkey! Bring it on! I am ready for some GOOD grub and some 3AM shopping! Happy day!

P.S. I wish I could get my christmas decorations out!!! Still a little too early! Dang it! I guess christmas music will still have to do for now!

Cute costumes! I'm with you on Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas. I usually take halloween down on Nov. 1, but this year colby isn't here so I have to wait until next weekend. I love it so much I have to be able to enjoy the decorations, and the music too!

What a fun night. I love Halloween too. Your kids look darling in their costumes. A football player and a princess - it doesn't get much better than that!:)

I have to laugh at Mel's comment because I was in Sam's Club today where they were playing Christmas music, and I thought of you.

tiffy, when are you coming to Utah? I'm going to be in Seattle on Thursday to Sunday. So close, but not close enough. I miss you. I think I haven't seen you since you came into the ortho office right after Ty was born. That is ridiculous. Love you.
