happy anniversary! the pictures are sooo beautiful! what temple is that?
Sooooooo.... here it is! I was so excited to get a night out with my hubby and NO kids! I was totally looking forward to a beautiful evening. We decided to go to Anthony's it's a really nice resturant here(they have them in San Diego,Seattle).BUT they ONLY serve seafood and steak. Terry and I HATE seafood or should I say we only eat salmon from Costco grilled at home! And we do not eat steak. I know,I know we are weird,I just don't really care for that stuff. I really don't think I am missing out at all. Anywho,so we wanted to try it since everyone was tellin us that Anthony's is the best in the world! So, we went and I opened up the menu and about died....NO CHICKEN dishes? WHAT? What was I going to eat? Well I had the waiter make me Fett. Alfredo. That guy looked at me so weird. Terry ordered the Filet. His steak tasted soooo plain and mine tasted not so good. It wasn't bad gross it just had no flavor! I was soooo disappointed, our fault for going to a place like that! I was pretty bummed. The ticket was $60 which isn't so bad but not worth it when we didn't like it.I hate when stuff like that happens.Thats why I like to go to the same place and order the same thing! That way I am never disappointed! I would have rather spent $100 and eaten somewhere so great then do what we did! After dinner we went to a movie "I Now Pronouce You Chuck and Larry" not so good. I really thought it would be more funny. It was a little to gay for me. No offence but there was to many gay jokes...enough already! The best part of the night was when we got into bed and Terry handed me a poem he had written for me. He writes the most amazing poems ever. He is a VERY good writer. He has written a novel. Anyway, the poem was beautiful and that made everything all better! I am so happy with him.Even though we didn't do anything that was spectacular it was good enough for me. Life is great!
Chanel- It was the Columbia River temple up here in Wash.
hahaha, I could have told you about Anthony's...although...it's my favorite place ever. There's one in Gig Harbor and in Seattle that we always went to, and the one's down here in Cali are good too. It's seriously my favorite place ever...I'm sad you hated it! Their sourdough is phenomenal! But yeah, if you're not a steak or seafood person...not the place to go...
I am glad that your day ended up good!
I have to say that I really like Chuck and Larry. But, this is someone that 100% behind gay rights, plus I thought it was funny.
Hey girl, Can I get your e-mail please...you can send it to cavebunch@cox.net By the way my name doesn't have an "h" in it:) I honestly don't care, but thought it would help you distinguish between your other friend "Nichole":)
I will get that right Nicole! So sorry!:)I will email you my address too!
So sad! I LOVE seafood and steak and I laughed my head off in Chuck and Larry!!!! There were a few times I could hear ONLY my friend Katie and I laughing in the whole theater! Maybe you just needed to see it with me, I keed!
I am glad the night turned out well! So what should Kev and I do for our 8th?!!!
