My 1st!
So, I had to go to court for the first time EVER ! About a month ago I was pulled over for my windows being too dark.WHAT!!! The cop was a total jerk. I had no idea that the tint I had from Vegas was too dark for here. Give me a break. So, without warning he wrote me a ticket for ........
$101.00!!! I couldn't believe it. I sent the ticket in so that I could go back and fight because I should have been warned. I had the tint removed from the car($50.00) and went to court today to see if they would let it go. I was told to wear "court room attire" so I dressed up nice. I had no idea what it would be like. When I opened the door to the court room I was totally shocked. It was a REAL courtroom,like on t.v.!! I started to sweat. I sat down with about 35 other people. When I looked up towards the front I saw the THE JUDGE in all his glory. He sat up on a high stand looking over all of us "law breakers". He sat in a huge black leather chair and of course he had on his black robe. I started to freak out. Was I really in trouble? I have never been in one of these in my life.Is this what its going to be like when we are REALLY judged? I was pretty scared. I was ready to confess and say sorry for whatever I did. Then I remebered the cop was a jerk to me. As I looked around at the other people I noticed I was the ONLY one dressed up.Mind you I was only in a skirt and top. Everyone else was in flip-flops and sweats or tank tops.Was I not wearing court room attire? The judge was calling people by name to come before him. There was no privacy? Of course 95% of the people that were there were there for speeding. You should have heard some of the excuses. And the people were laughing about it. They could seriously make a reality show about this. Maybe they have but this was a freak show. So he called me up and when he saw me he freaked out and said"please don't go into labor, I will try to hurry" I explained the car was from Vegas and we had the tint removed. He only lowed the ticket to $60.00! I really shouldn't be complaining but HELLO no warning!!! So, $110.00 later I am still mad about it. I thought the pregnancy would benefit me. O' well it's done and over with. I am sure this is so boring to all of you but I had to write about my first experience with the LAW! I promise I won't bore you again!!:) :)

What! The pregnant belly is supposed to get you sympathy! I have never had a jerk cop, bu my husband has plenty o' times. I feel for you, Tiffany.
i have had plenty of jerk cop experiances...like on christmas morning we got pulled over for speeding to tays parents house to open presents. it was like 6 in the morning and not a single car but ours was on the 95. the cop pulls us over and asks what are hurry was. we said we were on our way to our parents house to be with family and he says, do you think your family would be happy if you wound up dead on the way to their house because you were speeding? i was like what? why would you say that? we were only going like 10 miles over the speed limit. i have many more stories..its a good thing i have some hook-ups with the law...its like i never had any tickets!
i have slowed down my speeds in the car since i have had kids though. i have anxiety about driving on the freeways here with my kids...and i thought utah drivers were bad. j/k
This window tint ticket was my very first ticket and hopefully my last.:)
Did you complain about not getting a warning? I totally talked myself out of a speeding ticket once and the cop was laughing so hard because I had a good point. Hopefully I won't get pulled over again. Candace got a ticket for that once, but Jake V.'s dad got her off. That was a sweet hook up. I think most places have a law against tints except Vegas and Cali. I think you should have started to cry and then grab your belly like you were going into labor. Is that dishonest ;)!
I was having contractions while the cop was talking to me.But he didn't care he just said well get going heres your ticket.I am telling you....the guy was a TRUE jerk!I could of had the baby and he would not have cared.

There are some tough mormons on this blog! Am I the only one who got tickets speeding to school? When Billy was at school in Oregon, they pulled him over weekly for his dark tint. Never got the ticket though because he was still registered in Nevada. Jake VanLandschoot? I saw him riding his bike at the Smith's on Ranch and Craig a few years ago, he looked lost. :(
If we are talking about seeing high school paeople I just saw Sara Workman at the mall yesterday. She had her baby sitting on her lap in the wheelchair. :) Doesn't even need a stroller.
I had a jerk cop too!!! But when I went to court Bro. Webster was there and talked to the judge and said I was a good girl,ha ha, and the cop didn't show, so I was off the hook!!! Now every time I see a cop on a motorcycle in north town I look to see if its the big JERK!!!
Yea, it was Jake VanLanschoot I was talking about. It makes me sad to hear that about him, but I am not surprised.
I am excited to hear that Cera Workman had a baby! She was always so nice. I haven't seen her forever! Funny story about her though. Ryan and Brock went to Cafe Rio in Provo and it was sooo busy. They were just getting their food to go so they just wanted to run in real fast. There was no parking except for the handicap. Well, they parked there, and when they came out Cera was passing them in her chair!!!! They felt sooooo stupid, as they should!!! Talk about people who SHOULD get tickets!

Sad about him riding around on a bike and looking lost. I guess that wasn't fair of me considering my hubby rides bikes, but he wears lycra when he does it so people know it isn't because he can't afford a car. Although some people might think it is sad a man is wearing lycra. Hee hee! Also, Jake was probably high. I heard that he was still into that stuff. He was so nice, I just think he didn't have much faith in himself. Do you think he and Drew Osen will show up to the reunion?
I am way intrested to see who shows up at the reunion-who's gonna come out of their cave.
