Coldplay..... One of THE best trips of my life!!!!!!
There are no words! None. To describe my experience watching one of my all time favorite bands play.
First off..... I haven't been to a lot of concerts. In fact I've only been to 5 my whole life! They were:
1. Lionel Richie- I was like 4/5 years old. I went with my parents.
2. Whitney Housten- I DO remember this one! I really loved her as a little girl so my dad "Bob" took me! That was fun!
3. New Kids on The Block- I was in the 6th grade! Thats all I need to say about that.
4. Kenny Chesney- It was the year 2003 and I was 24! This was pretty good.
5. COLDPLAY!!!!!!!!!!!! 2012
My sister called me in March and asked if I wanted to go with her to see Coldplay.......... Ummmmmmm YES! Of course! Is that a trick question?!
I've loved this band since 1999 and have always wanted to see them in concert. It was on my bucket list.
So I pondered a lot on what to do. My sister said it was her treat to take me and all I had to do was buy my plane ticket to go. I hesitated a lot because the "mothers guilt" kept creeping up on me. I felt so bad leaving my kids and Terry behind to hold the fort down while I enjoyed a concert.
After MUCH thought I just jumped and bought a ticket! And let me tell you that I am so incredibly grateful I did! The trip became such a fun sister trip! I flew into Vegas Monday April 30th and the next morning Tara and woke up did a workout and then drove to L.A. For the concert! They performed at the Hollywood Bowl that night. We stayed at this amazing hotel "Hotel Roosevelt"Built in 1927 and it was so vintage! I was in heaven! We ate a fabulous late lunch and then headed to the concert! It was such an amazing experience! I can't even begin to tell you how much fun it was! I didn't want it to end. The next day we ate at an adorable little cafe and headed home because I had a flight to catch the next morning! I am so grateful Tara thought of me! This trip was seriously one of the best trips of my life!!!
