Spring Break 2009

We decided to take the kids up to Northern Idaho to a place called Stoneridge for a little getaway! It's about a 2 hour and 45 minute drive form home so it wasn't bad at all. Stoneridge is a place that Terry and his family have been going to for many years! Terry has good memories of this place so he was pumped to go and I on the other hand was wondering what I was going to do. So, we got there and the weather wasn't so bad maybe late 40's and the sun was out. So far so good! Our condo was nice and it was nice to have the kitchen to cook in too. People ask "so what did you do?". Well, we had options......racquetball, squish(racquetballs sister), swimming, basketball, mini golf, ping pong and wallyball. So Paige LOVED swimming and swam for the first time by herself with floaties on! Go Paige and Ty just played with balls most of the time and swam for a bit too! They also had a craft class too which was fun to do with Paige. I did play racquetball for the first time and really liked it so that was cool. The best way to describe Stoneridge is " Court club retreat " and for those in Vegas." LV Athletic Club retreat"! It seriously is awesome for that! The kids really liked it and we went with a group of people so it was fun to chat........BUT..... it snowed every other day but melted by afternoon and it was too cold to go outside and really play. Its so pretty up there I just so wish the weather was nicer. It sure was a nice getaway but I hope next time we go when it's warmer. I really, really, really want to go back when it's warmer!!!! It is so fun!
