What we've been up to......
Not a whole lot besides the norm. The weather is SLIGHTLY getting better! Yahoo! I think I am starting to see the light of Spring! I have been dying just waiting to wear some flip flops and have the sun shining on my face without getting shivers down my spine. I can't believe we are in the middle of March already...holy heck!
Paige started ballet and tap class a few weeks ago and loves it! she is just growing up and is so beautiful and so sweet! It's so fun to watch her do her own thing, she really has a good time. She goes once a week for 45 minutes and that is totally enough time for her right now. I have put a lot of thought into deciding to put her into pre-school and decided NOT to. I feel I can do a WAY better job at home with her and to save that $110 or so a month ($1,070.00/year) and put her into dance which is WAY cheaper! Plus, me and some friends decided to do pre-school together 1-2 a week. We would just take turns at whose house it's at. I know other moms out there might think I am crazy or dumb for not doing the "popular" thing and do pre-school but I just think that ......well, I won't tell you what I think! I know she is not missing out on anything!

Ty...... well, where do I begin with him? This guy is talking in sentences and knows 4 of his colors! He amazes me everyday! He is so much boy I can't believe it! He keeps me on my toes and wears me out! As wild has he is he does have the softest hearts!
Photography slowed down a little but is starting to pick back up. I am itching and dying to get outside and snap some shots!!! I am just waiting for green to start showing up around here!!!!
So, that's us in a nutshell! Told ya not too much! Just being a mom and a wife! Life is prety darn good!!!!! xoxoxo

tif i am TOTALLY with you on preschool! after i saw what jules did for 2 years in preschool i realized i could totally do it myself. lulu isn't going to go. i felt like it was so much like glorified daycare. and hello- the $$ is NUTS! THE key is those extra activities to give her the socialization and respecting of authority. GOOD FOR YOU!!!!! GO MAMA!

I think you should absolutely do what you think is best for your little ones when it comes to preschool. Spencer so loved it the first year, but the second was a total disaster!!!!!!!!! I was so upset at how it was all run and he actually regressed his second year. GRRR! You have the perfect personality to do it, and you will do a wonderful job. Dance will be perfect. I think Chanel is right on with the socialization and authority. That is what preps them most for Kindergarten.
I found out that Chad's thing is the 12-13 of JUNE! Sad for us. Maybe I can swing something anyway so we can be down there at the same time. We need to see eachother!

My son just turned four years old and is not preschool. I get asked EVERYDAY if I am going to put him in. Oh brother!! Like you, I have started to do my own thing with the neighborhood kids. We call it "homeschool." If I find the perfect preschool, I might put him in. But I refuse to put him in just because everyone else is! Now is his time to play and have fun!!! Now is my time to enjoy him while he is still all mine!!!

I don't blame you on the pre-school thing either. I am not sure I would have done it either, except we love our school. They are play based and don't believe in work sheets or forcing kids to memorize information that they have no clue about. They believe in learning through exploration and play and since it is a Co-op we have such a great sense of community. To each their own. And...I have a hard time believing that your kids are missing out on anything with such an amazing mom!
I don't know anyone that looks down on you for not doing preschool. I think everyone does what works best for them and their kids. I LOVE PRESCHOOL... but I'm probably not as good of a mom as you are. Love the picture of Ty in the hat. That kid is so darn cute!
