Detox & Rehab...
Poor Ty! These are the faces I see everyday of the poor kid!

Well..... for the past few days this house has been a rehab/detox for Ty! Yup.... we broke him from the bink!!! OMG!OMG!!!OMG!!! This is hard! Holy moly! This kid is having a tough time! Each day is a little better but man he is fussy most of the day! UGH! He does sleep through the night without it! I am hoping it gets better!
P.S. I am selling my Canon 30D body only!! Please go to my photo blog and leave a comment w/email if you are interested!! Thanks!

Hang in there...did you try letting him throw it in the garbage because it is "broken" (cut the nipple and when he sucks on it, it won't work)? I heard that works wonders but I have never tried it.
Caden just got sick of his binky when he was about 9 months old and stopped using it. THANK GOODNESS!
Good luck!
PS - Those eyes are gorgeous! Maybe we should hook him and Abbie up when they are older. Their kids would have incredible eyes!
When we broke Cutler I thought I was going to die! He actually did really good and only asked about for about 3 days, then he was done. I promise you it will get better, and he'll come out of his ornery stage. Cutler went through one too, and it's hard, but you'll get through it.
Tara- Yes, the binky was cut and he threw it away. He thought that part was funny but now reality has set! Haha!
Ummmmmm.... YES!!! Abbie and Ty would have some knock out kids!!! :)
Tiffany- Thanks so much! We are on day #4 and it's a little better! I guess it can only get better right?
I love those close up pictures.
It's so good you're getting rid of the binky now. I think it's much harder when they're older. Hang in there!
Oh, I did that binki thing. It sucks big time...for the moms!!! I heard the cutting the nipple thing works really well too. We worked our way down to one binki, and then Spence lost it. I told him it was gone, and he had a hard nap time and then was fine.
My friend found it, and I was so happy because I wanted to bronze it, but then one weak moment when he was having a tantrum (two weeks later), I pulled it out. Big mistake, so I took it away. Bigger tantrum, but worth it. The end.
Give him a sloppy kiss for me!
What a talent you have, you son is so good-looking! What is it with Las Vegas, I swear everybody here is sick...
Those pictures of him are awesome! You are a great photographer!
Tiffany,
I do remember you and your adorbale family. You were some of my favorite patients! I can't believe that time goes by so fast though......I swear it hasn't been that long???
Anyway, I received your christmas card (so special to get and a FANTASTIC picture!) Thanks for sharing. Also, thanks for the blog address. I will check often and keep myself posted. Feel free to check mine as well.
It's good to catch up! Thanks for contacting me!

im weak, so good for you hanging in there. ryan had to do it for jules, he just said he'd give it to her when he found it, and that worked?!?!?!!? lulu never used one, and yet i just bought a new package of them for this guy- they are wonderful....until you have to get rid of them. yikes, maybe i better not open the package.
sorry you've been so sick- sounds miserable! have fun with the new camera!!! lucky girl!
Awww Poor tye, good luck with that, I'm such a sucker when it comes to those things, hence is why lily still has the bottle, she'll probably be 18 before I take it....ugh.
Your such a great mom.

I hope it is getting better for little Ty. It's hard when you take things from them. I remember when I took the bottle away I just planned on being up all night the first night. Once we got through the first night then things were up hill from there.
Good Luck.
we had to flush our middle child's binky down the toilet. that's the only way he wouldn't find them again. :D oh..super jealous that you have a spankin' new awesome camera! :D have fun with that!!
