More happenings!

So Thanksgiving was so much fun! We watched the Macy's parade and that is always a treat! I went to see Twilight..... TWICE!!! i love that movie so much and I haven't even read he books! Ate lots of stuffing since that's my favorite and the to carry out tradition I woke up and arrived at Wal-mart at 4:30 am with 3 other beautiful ladies!!!! We rocked it this year! I soooooo look forward to Black Friday every year and every year it's a blast!! I got lots of stuff and then came home to decorate my house, another tradition! I am all about tradition so with that in mind my dear sweet husband decided he wanted to start one this year and go and cut a tree down. I wasn't too excited at first but later got excited. So off we go just like the "Griswalds" on a 2 hour drive to hunt and cut down the Parrish Family Christmas Tree! Welp...... we got lost for an hour,now we are in this trip 3 hours and still no tree! It's now starting to get a little dark and way foggy. The fog was so bad and we could not find this place...UGH!! Terry was NOT a happy camper, let's just say he got a little "Clark Griswald" on me! There was a point where I said" c'mon honey let's just turn around and go home", Terry(Clark) then turned around with his eyes BUGGING out and said" WE ARE GOING HOME WITH A TREE"!!!! What the ????? He was so crazy! We did not come home with a tree. I felt so bad because he REALLY wanted to so bad.  Then we took a wrong turn on the way home...UGH!!! Our Parrish Family Christmas Tree Adventure was supposed to take only 4 hours but it took us 6 hours and NO TREE!!!! So sorry Terry... next year!

  I am sure you all know the next part of my story.... we did get a tree but from a lot! Yep, it's a beautiful tree and I love it!! Not as meaningful as Terry's but ahhhhhhh so beautiful! My house is looking so festive and I am loving life right now!!! I will post pics as soon as I take some. I did finish my Christmas pillows and they are so pretty on the couch!!! I went a little crazy on the decorating this year and it looks so NICE!!! Most of my decorations (like 65%) I bought before I even met Terry! Yep, I bought stuff for "my future house and future Christmases" which was so smart, I thought! Anywho...the house is done and now it's time to start to wrap the gifts! I have one more shoot left before I leave for Vegas and then here I come "Viva"!!!! I hope you all are enjoying yourselves because this time of year is so fun and so special! Love to all!
