My sister
So, I am finally ready to post the news of my sister. Plus I wanted to be sure she was comfortable with me talking about it.It has been a crazy week or so with her! So, you all know she had a tumor removed from her a week and a half ago...........well it was Cancer meaning she has Ovarian Cancer. Sob,sob,sob and more sob! I seriously think this is STILL a dream and she really doesn't have it but I am still awake and it's real. She will be receiving Chemotherapy starting in April. What a champ she is since a couple of days ago I was helping her pick out a wig online. Me and the kids won't be going to Vegas until the middle of April because she is LOADED with doctor appointments in Vegas and L.A. Thanks to Bob our dad she is getting the best treatment in the world! That is the cool part. He is doing the best for her and that makes me feel so great! Paige keeps asking about Aunt Tata's belly and if she took her medicine...so cute! The kids miss her(and Nana and Papa too). This has definitely been a hard thing to grasp and I'm not Tara. But she is tough and she'll get threw this with flying colors! I just wanted to tell her that we sooooo love her and can't wait to see her and think of her 24/7! She's the woman!

Oh Tiff, I'm so sorry. Please let Tara know that she is in our prayers. I cannot even imagine what she must be going through right now. How are YOU doing? Keep us posted ok...
Aw Tiff, what a horrible thing to find out. Sweet Tara doesn't need this right now. Let her know she's being prayed for in many many states, and we'll put her name in our temple tonight. You make sure to take care of yourself during all of this...she'll need a strong support system. Love you guys!
We were so sad to hear about your sister. That is so tough. Tell her to keep her spirits up (working in a hospital I have seen the HUGE difference attitude makes on a person's recovery). She and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. Keep us updated.
You know, life doesn't always make a whole lot of sense does it? Tell your sis, that a girl she doesn't know, but a girl who cares, is thinking about her and praying for her to be able to have strength beyond her own.
We have talked, but she will do great. Tara has always been a fighter. She will be no different now. I can just see her keeping the nurses and doctors smiling with her fun spunky attitude.
She is in our prayers and so are you and your parents.

Oh my gosh, I am so sorry! I am sure with you and your wonderful family, she will get through this. Sounds like she's one tough cookie and can do this! You can be sure she'll be in our prayers, as will you. God bless!

Before you know it you guys will be at Macayo's eating lettuce and beans and this will be a distant memory.
I know that you are far, but I am in Vegas and willing to help in any way possible! You were so good to me when I was going through all of this with my dad and I would love to return the favor.
