Welcome Ty Joseph Parrish !!
We have a baby!! I am so happy that the surgery part is over. They ended up putting me asleep and not letting Terry in because I couldn't get numb. I felt the first cut and panicked! I was so scared and in pain. Poor Terry had to watch from outside the OR . I had alot of scar tissue and sometimes that makes it hard to get numb. I hated going under but there was nothing else to do. So, now any future babies I have I have to go under!! Yikes! I do not like that and my doc did give really big hints that I shouldn't have anymore babies. Its too hard on my body. But enough of that..... I have a beautiful baby boy!! And after being in recovery for a while I was able to see my baby Ty about 2 hours later. He weighed.....only 8lbs 5oz!! Can you believe it? That is so small(to me). He is 10 days early though. He has alot of hair and is just so dang cute. I can't believe I love him so much. I was so worried about loving another baby. I mean I love Paige so much, how was there more room? But its true, moms love ALL their babies. We are all doing well and excited the scary part is over. I am so grateful for the MANY blessings we have been blessed with and I am just soooooo happy! Love you all!!!! xoxoxox

Don't worry about what the doctor said. The Lord will bless you with more babies if that's in His plan for you. In the meantime, just love on the 2 you have. They are really lucky to have you for a mom!
Congrats! He is so cute. It's so true that you love each baby so much. I had a girl first and then a boy too and it's been amazing to see how different they are. Just wait until he's circumcised (if you're doing it). It was hard seeing my 1 day old baby have to go through that.
Yippee! Congratulations!!
ONLY 8.5? That is a big baby! I wonder what he would have been in 10 days!
I love the "mad" picture, I love to hear a new born cry (as long as it is not mine!). :)
I am so happy for you!
congratulations! he is so cute! i fell in love with the newborn cry after my second baby. its funny when derek was born his cry seemed so loud, but after having another newborn and getting used to more of a toddler cry with derek, dylans newborn cry seemed so soft and cute
cicumsicion isnt fun either. we didnt have it done in the hospital, our peditrician does it at his office. i ddint go in the room but taylor did both times to be there with the boys. u could hear their sad cries in the waiting room though. it breaks my heart, but i think they will be alot happier when they are older that we did it! :)
Yeah, I know what you mean Mandy. I worked for a pediatrician for many years and witnessed a lot of circs. But when it came to my own child, I had to leave! I didn't even sit in the waiting room because I knew I would still be able to hear him cry, I had to leave the office alltogether. After a good long nap, they forget all about it!
Lovin my girls even more right now!
I didn't go in with Spencer, and I did't even hear him cry! I don't know if I could have gone in! I also love his "Mad" picture! So funny. I love babies!
we go on Friday to get Ty circ. and I am not looking forward to that. Terry and my mom are going in with him and I am going to be standing outside. We are home and doing well.Recovery for me is tough sence my scar runs up and down my stomach and it hurts!I get the staples out friday(ahhhhh relief)! Things are great here. I will have to post some new pics of baby :)
How about one of the scar?!!! Up AND down? How does that work? I thought it was just a little horizontal cut. Owwwie, my feet are going numb!
i thought they stopped doing vertical cuts. how come the doctor did it 2 differnt ways?
I had an old scar from a previous surgery so instead of having two scars and looking like an anchor he goes through the old one. A little harder recovery but so much less scar tissue in the long run.
I had 25 staples taken out yesterday.pretty awesome.I'll put a pic of scar too!
i had staples with derek and i felt like frankenstein. but with dylan they used disolvable staples and then used a bonding glue to glue the incision shut. it was so much nicer than the staples!! i will request that from now on
